The Antifragile Review is a lightweight architecture review of a system that can be carried out at any stage of a project. It provides an independent view of an architecture and is built to help teams validate and verify architecture decision making before going to implementation. A review at the right point in time can save enormous amounts of both money and energy.

The benefits of an Antifragile review are:

  • Quickly identify quality issues, even before building

  • Increase in internal understanding of the system

  • Answer why certain things are taking too much time

  • Prepare the system for production

  • Give an overview of the true state of a system to executives

  • Help teams that are new to cloud avoid easy errors

An Antifragile review uses Antifragile Systems Design to ask questions about the behavior of a system in a complex environment. The process reviews the properties of the system decomposition in relation to the market in which it operates, and uses Stressor Analysis, Flow Analysis, and Failure Mode Analysis to understand the system’s ability to cope with external and internal stress.

The review process is quick and lightweight, and delivers pragmatic recommendations in an easy to understand format. A review normally takes less thatn two calendar weeks to complete.
